About Jo Red :
The hole story began 2 years ago as I decided to improve the sound of the preamps.
I was always decieved by the sound systems because of their poor sound quality.
Not because some of those sounds play too loud but mainly because the sound is distorted.
I had no pleasure to listen to it especialy when some of my favorite tunes where played
and had very hard time to recognise the tune. No pleasure at all, just bass shaking.
we decided to modify his Jah Tubby's 3 way preamp to make a tube/valves preamp.
I did a full backward engineering to understand the principles of this preamp.
I found out that many points could be upgraded to get better results.

Due to succes of
this mod and by popular demand I did mod some others JTS preamp.
I developed a
phase linear crossover module, a discrete output opamp (API based),
added filtering
for mic and fx returns ( to avoid tweeter damage ).
By the same time I
got many request from sound
systems owners to repair
and restore their
preamp from the most well know to most unkown preamp.
To name a few :
Barracuda, Links, JTS, Mostec, Lincoln.
Again by popular
demand I did start to build my own line of preamps with no compromise to
sound quality.
Only the best of
the best.
The philosophy
behind it is to reproduce a record with no distortion and coloration.
Back in the days
when the jamaicans recorded musik with their analogue equipment the
sound wasn't at the top level.
But this give its
unique character to reggae musik of the 70's. And I love it.
But what happens
if you reproduce this non-perfect musik with far from perfect preamps,
amps and speaker?
You mash up the
sound!!! You loose those wonderfull details wich makes the musik so
rich.
I wanted to have
the same quality as those expensive Hi-Fi gear.
